The air brake training course is required for every class of license that permit the driver to drive vehicles equipped with an air brake. After completing the air brake training at the institution, you'll be issued the Alberta Government Notice of Air Brake Program Successful Completion Certificate. It is possible to take this certificate into any Alberta registry in order to take the test in writing. After passing the test and are certified, the endorsement is added to your driver's licence.     It is the Government of Alberta requires drivers of cars equipped with air brakes to get their drivers licenses approved for the air brake "Q". This is applicable to both commercial and motorhomes.

    This training program aims at providing students with conceptual knowledge as well as the practical abilities needed to inspect properly the system for air braking in a vehicle. The program, students are required to complete the in-class instruction and practical exercises. Students must provide a certificate of completion at Alberta Registry. Alberta Registry to take the knowledge assessment. After the test has been completed and it will be a "Q" endorsement will be added to the license of the student. The test is comprised of 30 multiple choice questions. the first 25 are necessary to be answered correctly to be passed.
